Professor Abdullahi is the Head of Department of Criminology and Security Studies. Abdullahi is a Professor of Sociology with top-notch research, communication, analytical and interpersonal skills, as well as a highly demonstrated history of learning and working in higher education industry in Africa. He is a result-oriented researcher with a proven capacity to design, conduct, manage and execute policy-relevant researches. His research interests include gender and development, medical sociology, public policy, security, and violence. He has won several grants, the most recent being the 2021 TETFund research grant under the national research fund. A social crusader and community mobilizer for development with vast experience in relationship matters.
