Criminology & Security Studies

Obasanjo S. Balogun obtained a BSc, MSc, and PhD in Sociology, specialising in Criminology. He holds the position of Lecturer I in the Department of Criminology and Security Studies, University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Nigeria. He is passionate about imparting knowledge and teaches a variety of courses, including Introduction to Social Problems in Nigeria, Urbanisation and Crimes, Victimology, Juvenile Delinquency and Youth Crime, Rehabilitation and Treatment of Offenders, and Cybercrime and Cybersecurity. His research interests span the fields of Criminology, Criminal Justice, Social Problems, and Victimology.
