Adedeji Oyenuga, a renowned Professor at Lagos State University, is a renowned expert in Sociology, Criminology, and Cybercrime. He has made significant contributions to academia, research, and security education. His research interests include Sociology, Criminology, Social Problems, Deviant Behaviour, and Critical Cybernetics. His doctoral research focused on the Cybercrime Subculture in Lagos State, a pioneering work in understanding the evolving landscape of cybercrime. He has received support from institutions like the Lagos State Scholarship Board and the Council for the Development of Social Research in Africa. He is also a Core Learning Partner on Education for Justice and an Education for Justice Ambassador for UNODC. Oyenuga has been recognised for his contributions to academia and his work in criminology. He founded DigOut NG, a Private Investigation and Security Firm, in October 2023. He is currently on sabbatical leave at the Department of Criminology, University of Ilorin.
